چکیده
Among the single treatments tested under in vivo addition of well decomposed FYM 20 tons per hectare as soil amendment recorded minimum wilt incidence of 3.75, 24.76 and 48.25 % at flowering, fruit formation and ripening stages of chilli crop, respectively, with 61.31 q ha fruit yield as compared to check (42.50 q ha). Dual application of Trichoderma viride 0.16 t ha + FYM 20 t ha recorded minimum wilt incidence of 3.10, 22.16 and 40.20 % at above respectively stages with 62.75 q ha fruit yield as compared to check. Combined application of delayed irrigation + FYM + T. viride recorded significantly least wilt incidence of 2.95, 20.39 and 30.75 % at flowering, fruit formation and ripening stages, respectively, with 64.50 q ha increase in fruit yield as compared to check. The application of all treatments and their combinations also resulted in overall improvement of fruit number and yield of crop.

Comparative study of different fungi associated with fruit rot of chilli and screening of chilli germplasm against Colletotrichum capsici
Eco-friendly management of fruit rot of chilli was carried out with the objectives to ascertain the causal pathogens associated with the disease and to evaluate resistant sources against the pathogens. The disease samples of chilli fruits collected from different locations revealed that three isolates of Colletotrichum capsici, one isolate each of Fusarium moniliforme. F. pallidoroseum, F. oxys...
متن کاملGibberella xylarioides (anamorph: Fusarium xylarioides), a causative agent of coffee wilt disease in Africa, is a previously unrecognized member of the G. fujikuroi species complex.
Tracheomycosis or coffee wilt has emerged as a major disease of robusta coffee in Uganda in the past 10 years. Coffee wilt historically has been associated with Fusarium xylarioides Steyaert (teleomorph Gibberella xylarioides Heim and Sacc.), a species that has been classified as a member of Fusarium section Lateritium. We investigated the molecular phylogenetics of fusarial coffee wilt isolate...

The objective of this study was to determine inhibitory activities of four volatile plant essential oils (cinnamon oil, fennel oil, origanum oil and thyme oil) on in vitro growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. fragariae causing Fusarium wilt of strawberry plants. Results showed that these essential oils inhibited in vitro conidial germination and mycelial growth of F. oxysporum f. sp. fragariae i...
متن کاملScreening some Iranian Muskmelon Landraces for Resistance Against Fusarium Wilt Disease using Molecular Markers
Fusarium wilt is one of the most destructive diseases of muskmelon (Cucumis melo L.), which is an economically important disease worldwide causes yield losses in muskmelon growing areas. One of the most effective controlling measures to prevent Fusarium wilt is through host resistance by using resistance genes. We used developed molecular markers for Fom-2 gene, which confers ...
